Frequently
Asked
Questions

When starting a new fitness plan, there are numerous questions prospective clients may have. Here are some of the most common questions asked:

How soon will I see results?

Everyone is a little different, but with consistent habits of eating according to your trainer's customized guidance for your lifestyle along with exercising regularly, most people feel results within 2 weeks and see results within 4-6 weeks.

What does a personal trainer do?

As personal trainers we work with you, the client, to help design a plan for your lifelong health goals. We talk one-on-one with you, address any concerns, and develop a training plan with nutritional guidance to help you make a plan that suits you!

How much does it cost?

TFS operates slightly different from your "average gym". Although we encourage our new clients to work with a trainer 2-3 three times a week. We understand this may not always be feasible with time or financial constraints. Therefore, we allow you to purchase however many you wish at prices ranging from $40-65 (depending on the # and type of session) and we will work with you to make the training work with your schedule. Whether it be once a week, three times a week, or a couple of times a month.

What is private personal training?

All our sessions take place at our private training studio with you and your trainer only. You are in a judgment free environment where you can relax and focus on each exercise movement.  You and your trainer will work together to help you reach your goals.

What can I expect at my training session?

The majority of our sessions are circuit based workouts. We want you to get the most out of each 55 minute session, so we usually do strength and stability training with cardio interspersed throughout the workout, but each client's program is individually built.

What should I eat before and after my workouts?

While everyone is a bit different. We always stress that our clients eat something about 1-2 hours before each session. Eat something that will give you sufficient energy for your workout that is mainly carbohydrate with a protein element (usually 100-300 calories). After your workouts having a good source of protein immediately after will help aid in recovery.
